What happened in 2015 in Nepal ?

A powerful earthquake struck between Kathmandu and another city, Pokhara, on the morning of 25 April.

The earthquake had a magnitude of 7.8, which meant it was very strong. And tremors were felt in nearby countries Pakistan, Bangladesh and India.

Then on May 12 of the same year, a second powerful 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck eastern Nepal near Mount Everest, killing more than 100 people and injuring thousands.
